Priest Mahaado

Mahaado is an extremely powerful sorcerer and keeper of the Sennen Ring. He has made it his sworn duty to protect Pharoah Atemu. The two seem to be close friends and have had a long standing relationship since before Atemu became Pharoah. Atemu treats him as if he were a brother and of an equal station to him even though Mahaado sees himself as merely Pharoah‘s servsnt. Mana looks to him as a teacher and older brother. She wants to be worthy of his teaching but sometimes thinks that he is too serious. In the present day the soul of Mahaado resides in Yami no Yugi’s favorite card: Black Magician were he can continue to protect Pharoah.

Mana

Mahaado’s young apprentice who is also a close friend of Atemu. They have been together most of their lives and their friendship is strong. She still calls him ‘Prince’ even though Atemu is now Pharoah. Atemu doesn’t seem to mind this though as he continues to let her do so even over the objections of others. Atemu sees her as a younger sister and a loyal friend who gives all she has in everything she does. Mahaado appears to see her as a mere student but the two of them seem to be close and he does smile when she’s around. In the present day the card that represents her in Yami no Yugi’s deck is the Black Magician Girl, which may also carry her soul within it to assist Pharoah and Mahaado.

Pharoah Atemu

Pharoah of all Egypt and keeper of the Sennen Puzzle. He was also a powerful wielder of the Shadow Magics himself. He seems to be and to have been very good friends with both Mahaado and Mana despite the fact that both of them were lower in station then he was. He looks to both of them as the siblings he never had and seems able to relax when in their presence. He doesn’t see either one as being anything other then friends to him and cares nothing for their difference in station. Mana seems to be particularly close to him and she sees him as a brother. Mahaado seems to have a deep bond with the Pharoah and to consider him a friend even though he still believes his role is that of a servant. In the present the soul of Atemu resides within the confines of the Sennen Puzzle and he shares the body of Mutou Yuugi.

These three friends share a deep bond that has transcended both death and time as they have now been reunited in the present day to continue their fight to protect the world from the Yami no Games.
